Most software that handles your passport is built by companies you will never meet, on servers you will never see. It seems fair to tell you who built this one, and why it works the way it does.

DocVerify Pro exists because of a decision that most tools in this category make the other way. Every competitor solves the problem by taking your document onto their servers: you hand over a photograph of your passport, your tax return or your bank statement, and trust that it goes away afterwards.
This one does not. Every operation — the lighting correction, the perspective flattening, the exact-size export, the passport photo framing — runs inside your own browser, on your own processor. The document never reaches a server, which means it cannot be stored, logged, used for training, or handed to anyone. Not even under a court order, because it was never received.
That decision made the software considerably harder to build. Image processing that would be a few lines on a server had to be written to run in a browser tab, fast enough that nobody waits. It is the reason the product took the shape it has.
How the work gets done
Soelys is autistic. In this particular job that is not a footnote — it is most of the method.
Document compliance is a field made of small exact numbers that almost nobody finds interesting. USCIS accepts 12 MB and the IRS accepts 15. A DS-160 photo must be under 240 KB and a passport photo must be over 54 KB. The head in a green card photo has to fall between 50% and 69% of the frame height, and the eyes between 56% and 69% from the bottom. Every one of those numbers has been read from the source, dated, and written into the software — and the ones that could not be verified are labelled as unverified, because presenting a guess as a fact is how someone ends up submitting the wrong file.
Holding that kind of detail steady, and caring whether a comma survives compression, is the work. It is not a workaround for how she thinks. It is what she is good at.

What this software will never do
Worth stating plainly, because it is a commitment and not a limitation:
- It does not alter document content. It cannot change a name, a number, a date, a signature or a seal. The signature tool only adds ink on top, and by arithmetic can only darken what is already there.
- It does not verify whether a document is authentic, and makes no such claim.
- It does not give legal, immigration or tax advice.
- It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of any government agency.
